Must be hard to catch the ball with all these lighting, heh?
Quoted from ita47:What color is that? I have been thinking about doing my Metallica soon.
heh.... I think it's blue?!?!
Quoted from Strummy:I think this thing came out great.

Gotta make an appoitment with an eye doctor...... guess I'm going colour-blind!
Quoted from hd60609:I think this powder coat color looks pretty good on an LE...
yeah... definitely not on the pro....
Quoted from Astropin:My IJ done in Bronze Metallic (really doesn't show in the pics):
It really doesn't... machine is beautiful anyway!
Quoted from PeterG:I think that is the best combination! IMHO better than the slimmer green. Beautiful machine
The colours should fit with the cabinet art. Not with the PF, nor with some toy. If it doesn't compliment the cabinet colours, well, just don't!
Quoted from MustangPaul:Looks good but on the coin door painting the driver is on the wrong side.
Yeah.... I have noticed that from the start.... but what could I do since the door painting was a "surprise gift" from the restorer???
Quoted from Reality_Studio:Ok that it really cool, especially the paint on the legs. Very nicely done, I've saved these images in case I find a local artist that can do this for me one day to my Scared Stiff pin.
Here's a better pic:
Quoted from whthrs166:My Scared Stiff is in the works. Here is the lock bar and legs. It's taking longer because of the airbrushing. The idea here is making it look like slime is running out of the BB down the side rails ( being powder coated as we speak) across the lock bar. Also the legs look like slime will poring out of the bolt holes. I will blog about this one when its done. I have a few tricks that I would like to pass along. Oh and I'm not a professional and I don't have a business so my work isn't as good as a lot of you guys out there.
Cool, can't wait to see the pics of the machine with its parts!
Quoted from Neal_W:Tilt Graphics was showing off vinyl wrapped legs at the Pintastic show. I think he said $40/leg pre wrapped, since it would be too difficult to apply it yourself with the ridges on the legs. They wrapped lock down bars as well, but it seemed a bit wrinkly on the rounded edges. The legs had no issues.
Very cool! I'm currently on a project of wrapping the metals of my ID4 pin with red "carbon-fiber" vinyls. Looks good so far! I'll post some pics later!
Quoted from jokerpoker:But can see with the right graphic it could work very well. Snake skin on METLE. for example.
Agree! I like some art on the metals! My SS and CftBL have custom painted metals and they're both awesome! If done right, why not custom vinyls?
Quoted from agodfrey:Thinking about coating a Cliffy on WOZ. The munchkin protector. Of course the habitrails are coated and hold up. Wondering if something that may get some ball impacts will hold up. I would prob clear coat it. Just curious.
Adam, please, tell me you didn't get a woz for u.
Quoted from MustangPaul:I think it did too but only about 7% of the people that answered my pole said they liked it and it's difficult to assemble with too much that can go wrong.
Paul, I don't wanna hurt your feelings, but.... I didn't like it either....
Quoted from MustangPaul:Not at all, hey I hate it when people put action figures all over their pf's but that's just my opinion. Everyone has a right to their own opinion right. That's why I put a poll up, to get peoples opinion. So what's your opinion on the lit T molding on RFM and SW? I like it. I was originally was gonna do that to my RFM almost a year ago but kept putting it off, when GB came along I knew I had to put it on that game first. I just ordered the parts to do my RFM but again I'm using an rgb strip so I can change the look whenever I want. The parts run about $90.
That's great man! You got a f***ing nice collection, keep it up always!
PS I: The sad part is when some shovelheads thumbs you down for nothin' here on pinside, but hey, carma is great! They end up buying games with burnt playfields!
PS II: I got some action figures on some PF's... not all over, but here and there...
Quoted from libtech:Heres my trek I just got finished, went dark metallic blue, love it!
Quoted from libtech:Thanks for the kind words on trek boys! One more and then I'm done PC for a while, just want to swap to black flipper buttons and actually wipe the finger prints off the rails and legs
