Very impressive collection and nice variety of colors Pinlawyer! I like your Mustang topper too.
Quoted from rotordave:I got my GOT pro parts back today. ... So pacific gold powdercoat it was, and it matches up the fonts used and the playfield colours nicely, IMO.

That gold looks great on your GoT RD! It actually makes the game's artwork look better and I didn't think that that was possible.
Quoted from Stones:Saw this for sale.....I like the use of colors here....
Interesting two-tone idea for the legs. Not a fan of the overall color scheme though.
Quoted from tomtest:You lost me, so what are prismatic colors?
Quoted from Da-Shaker:Nice! How hard is it to do the vertical side strips on the back box? Do you have to replace them or can you pull them off and put them back on? What color red is that? Looks great!
Thanks. The t-molding removes and installs easily and is reusable. I bought mine on eBay and it comes in various colors. For example:
ebay.com link: 20ft of 3 4 Red T molding for Arcade Games or Mame Machines
Quoted from MustangPaul:Oh man that red looks great. You know what would good on those red legs don't you.
I'm thinkin' a MustangPaul "Volcano" would look cool in the PinGulp! The problem is if I do one game, the other 11 will end up having one too. Cha ching!
Quoted from Micky:That looks great. That red is a damn nice colour.
Thanks - that's "Vampire Red" from Prismatic Powders for anyone interested. It's actually a titch darker than it looks in the game cabinet photos.
Quoted from Butch2099:What color do you guys think would go good on Black Knight Swords of Rage?
I'm considering doing a Premium with added full rails in a dark purple (PP Illusion Berry).
Quoted from Colsond3:Trip to the PC this morning. Rest of the parts for Superman, the armor/coin door for Halloween and some other stuff done. Still have another two boxes to pick up. Stoked to get some of these games back together![quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Nice colors - a fine looking game!
Quoted from dinot:Dormant Transparent Sparkle Granny Smith by Tiger Drylac
I was going to go with a Prismatic Powder color (Illusion Green Ice), but the last machine I did (Star Wars 2 posts up) took a couple of weeks for the powder to come in. The powdercoater had this color on hand so I went with it as I am impatient. ...
Looks like a nice TMNT color choice! Got a pic that shows the entire game more?
Quoted from dinot:Prismatic Candy Grape II.
I like the way this came out. My kids chose the color. I had wanted Illusion Violet, but since this is "their" pin, I let them pick the color. I also spray paint the carriage bolts gloss black.
Nicely done - kudos to your kids for their color matching creativity! I like how you have added the full waffle effect to the coin reject and start buttons too (presumably via the fine folks at Rocket City Pinball)!
Nice! At first glance, that purple is DARK in your pics, but when you zoom in, it comes alive more and looks alluring with the metallic flaking adding a shimmering effect.
I bet it looks spectacular in normal light!
Quoted from dinot:Prismatic Powders Illusion Tangerine Twist ...
Nice looking gameroom lineup!
Quoted from rotordave:I’m exactly the opposite. 99% of the time a powdercoated coin door looks garish to me.
The black makes it “disappear” … when you see say a bright yellow one on TSPP it says LOOK AT ME I’M A COIN DOOR IM VERY BIG AND BERY UGLY AND VERY YELLOW lol
But each to their own.
rd
Quoted from Jarbyjibbo:LoL I can definitely see that. To me I just can't handle they don't match. But again, that's just my own OCD.
Powder coating any part of a game is very subjective of course, but I don't think you're OCD at all.
Powder coating the coin door too is a matter of completing the finish and aesthetics to me. I think they can be done tastefully and with additional accent colors/finishes as well such as the coin slot bezels. The only time I've considered them to be garish looking is when the powder coat color chosen for the game, to begin with, is garish itself.
Quoted from Stormfront:I have a Stern Star Wars Premium that I am thinking of doing a white powdercoat on (stormtrooper theme). Has anyone done this or knows anyone who has done this? I know I've seen a picture of this done somewhere, but I can't find it now.
I did it on mine. Posted these pics previously, but here they are again plus more at flickr if interested:

Nice! Very much like my former IM game powdercoated by Pinball Refinery.
That was a fun, as well as good looking, game!
SIGH
Quoted from dinot:Candy Raspberry by Prismatic. I typically spray paint the hardware gloss black on my games, but this time, I wanted to do something different. I went with Maui Blue and I am liking it.

Whoa - very psychedelic! Reminds me of a black light poster.
Quoted from Rockbiter:IMDN 3-step, Super Chrome->Transparent Gold->Sunglow
That's a nice gold - looks great on Iron Maiden Premium!
Quoted from Nicholastree:Here’s my Zilla, decked out in a powder coat of prismatic’s Lollypop red on a coat of silver vein. ...
Unique color for a reptilian Godzilla - I like it!
