Quoted from Micky:

I saw some pics of an all white powder coated WH2O. I'll see if i can find them.

Thanks!

Holy cow, there's ten pages of white colors on the prismatic site..... talk about choice overload. I'm not even sure where to start for a color selection. Any PC pros have a white suggestion by chance?

#1252 6 years ago

I swear that white WW is in this thread somewhere...

Found it...It's in post 659....Not sure how to post it in this post...but it's in the images.

Nice, I'm sold especially for as much cheaper as it is over chrome. Now I just need to figure out which of the 10 pages worth of white to choose.

Sorry man. I couldn't find the pics i was talking about. At least the one back in this thread gives you some idea.

Not too shabby, what about taking the apron in and trying to match it? Is that how you did it? I'd still love to see an all white WH20.

Mate just did one in white. Didn't look right even with all the white mountains and white Bigfoot. He took one look at my chrome one and said "I have to redo it" I know it's personal taste but I haven't seen a white yet I like. It just comes across as too stark. I posted this before but here's another.

TSPP finally complete. This game came out incredible, considering it has almost 30000 plays on it.

A few pics of a POTC I did a few years ago. Going for the vintage look with the brushed bronze.
I know this part is not powder coating but the wood vaneer on the apron was done in wood flooring from a historic house built in the 1750's. I also covered the hinges in vinyl to match the missing graphics. See pics.

You should go with gold chrome T molding if it's your game.

There was one done in white by Cointaker a couple of pages ago

is it transparent brass/gold over super chrome or that new illusion gold? I was thinking of a brassy look on my game of thrones

Yep, from the ground up. Started as a very beaten import machine that had gone Chicago-Japan-Europe-NZ. Well travelled!

Can't really chrome plate plastic. Some places can vacuum metalize with varying results sometimes.

Nice! Thanks man

Chosen_S on your GB prem... the white looks really nice.

Question; it looks like the leg bolts & coin door bolts are a brighter white. Did you PC them too, or is that a white paint? PC legs bolts can be challenging with wrenching on them.

Thank you!

The bolt heads and the apron are white PC, really so is everything else, all the armor that is not “white” is clear coat glow in the dark PC

anyone power coated a GOT premium?

#1286 6 years ago

Anyone do a Star Wars premium yet? I was thinking gloss black to be safe but might be tempted by another color

Cointaker had one in white and it looks great but I have mine next to Ghostbusters so I don't necessarily want 2 all White games next to each other

Do you need brand new rails and lockdown bar to have them powder coated. What if there are dings and scratches on them?

Quoted from Plumonium:

Do you need brand new rails and lockdown bar to have them powder coated. What if there are dings and scratches on them?

Then you'll have nice shiny powdercoated rails with dings on them.

You don't need new, tidy used ones are ideal.

If you do buy new, Pinball Life has raw steel legs (dunno about rails) that's the way to go. Because any finish on them has to be removed. So if they're raw steel, they can just be coated as they are.

rd

Edit: yep, they have raw side rails too ...
