That is one sweet looking Congo! Nice work. Maybe lighted flipper buttons and Mustang Paul's leg lights would look badass.

Quoted from Jarbyjibbo:Quick question, where's the best place to get the stern plastic chrome bezel, etc parts from?
Good find. I wonder if those could be laser scanned then cnc milled out of metal so they could be chromed.
Quoted from PinballTilt:Anyone powder coated a Junkyard? Thinking about doing it now that Robertstone0407 does powder coating. Love to see what others have done. I can't seem to think of a color that would match that game. Sky blue maybe?
I contemplated it for a long time too, but the only color that I could see looking good on mine was wrinkle black. Never pulled the trigger though.
Quoted from golfingdad1:Anyone ever do something with a Baywatch?
I saw one done in yellow in one of the other threads...maybe bigd1979's? Don't remember off the top of my head.

How about Brass ?
That could look great, might double the cost of the pin.
Quoted from Jarbyjibbo:Sweet, I need stuff from Terry anyway. I noticed when taking apart my WOZ door for plating that it's got plastic pieces as well. Anyone know 100% if these will fit the JJP door as well. They look identical to the Stern but figured someone might have plated their WOZ door and know for sure.
Just confirmed the Stern (GB) and JJP (WOZ) doors are the same as far as the bezel parts go in case anyone was interested.

That would probably look pretty good, would definitely be a little pricy to do.

Someone did the habitrails in some sort of electric or deep blue. Looked really cool. I was going to do that to mine had I kept it. Pictures I think are in the game's discussion thread.
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Not mine but here's a Taxi done in red on the local buy and sell. My friend did his taxi in a shiny black and it looked amazing
Yea man......black is a must on Taxi.....
Quoted from Stones:Yea man......black is a must on Taxi.....
There was a super sweet Taxi with black gloss at TPF.
Usually I'm not big on powdercoating Sys11s but this was looking pretty good.

I love Taxi.....Taxi is one I shouldn't have sold. There are so many beat to shit Taxis out there.....its always a treasure to find one restored. Powder Coating is icing on the cake
I looked through the thread and didn't see a street fighter 2 that's been powder coated.
Just wondering if anyone has and what color they used??

Hmmm......blue, grey, black, or chrome look?
I figured chrome would look good....but the right blue could make it really pop!
It's nice seeing examples to help give you a better idea.

I saw one done in bright red ... while pretty "vibrant" it did suit the cartoony theme ok.
rd
EDIT google is our friend I could take it or leave it.

Those are the stainless rails aren't they? If so Chris said they are a pain to chrome but they could be buffed and polished to look like chrome. You'll have to ask him. Chrome would look great but spendy. Blue chrome would look good too but real spendy.
I am pretty sure I saw someone on pinside able to apply some sort of coating to plastic parts, i.e. plastic gun handles/shooters.
Anyone else remember seeing that and who it was or what process it was?

Not a fan of the red. Thanks for sharing though

I just did my ST Pro in chrome and WOW! The cab is blue too so the chrome really brightens up the game.

Pics, or it didnt happen chump.....
Someday, I would like to get ST back in the line up. It played so damn fast, I was just trying to keep the ball in play. Great game!
Quoted from Stones:Pics, or it didnt happen chump.....
I'll try but you know how chrome photographs.
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Not a fan of the red. Thanks for sharing though
I actually like the red on that game. To each their own, but it does fit the theme and art like rotodave said. I like when armor pulls out the colors from the cabinet.
Quoted from ImNotNorm:No thanks
LMFAO...my suggesting you asking him was pure sarcasm because it's his least favorite game. Still laughing.

Ron at Pinball Plating & More was doing it, but he recently sold his company off to Chris who runs HRA.

Thanks, I will get in touch with Chris and see if it's something he can do now he has Ron's hardware. Need my Goldeneye gun shooter made to look new again
Quoted from CoinTaker:Here is the SW Pro we did for Replay FX.
That SW was spectacular. Its the only game I have seen that makes white powder look right.
It was really well executed.
Quoted from CoinTaker:Here is the SW Pro we did for Replay FX.
Nice job - but where did you get the nice siderails? Powdercoated those available for GB?
Quoted from libtech:I should post this here as well - Alien! My idea was have it be a colour that looked black in most light but green in direct light, and that also had some silver flecks to give it a spacey feel lol, I like it
Nice work.
Quoted from Colsond3:A friend of mine told me that it was clean white from Prismatic.
https://www.prismaticpowders.com/powder-coating-colors/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMItY6HqMOR1QIVnFcNCh16UwohEAAYASABEgJQe_D_BwE
But I would just contact one of the suppliers and ask them to be 100%.
Thanks! Has anyone else confirmed that Clean White is correct? You can get lost in all the colors they have..
Quoted from CoinTaker:Here is the SW Pro we did for Replay FX.
Holy crap.....we got a SW in this thread before a AS......the white looks great!
Quoted from Robertstone0407:I finally figured out how to replicate a brass plate look
