The criteria is esoteric.. .Its not the "brightest", or "most". its artistic interpretation of the game and lights.Like a Christmas House decorating contest. EM can win just the same.
I agree that using the thumbs up method isn't accurate, since it heavily favors those who posted earlier in the thread. I think we need to vote as a community. People should list their top three favorites, as well as what game they feel is the most unusual. The voting will be cutoff at a specified time. We then tally the votes to determine the winners.
Art said he, and others there, will select the winners based on their own subjective criteria.
He started the contest, and he's giving away free stuff at his expense. His contest, his rules. Nobody has any right to complain about the criteria, regardless of who wins.

the contest....I would hope one massive thread of pics, that every one can refer to.
Regarding judging. Thumbs up, help....they tell me what you think. So they dont decide, but they do influence.

There are so many great works of Art, as I like to call them...its going to be tough...
but there are some that I just shake my head at and say..."how did you do that?
"How did you photograph that?"
But it isnt the best Photograph, but more, did you transform the game in a way that makes it........"special"
There really is no words, when looking at as an art.

I clearly see now I need a better camera, as the winners took excellent photos that I believe help in the conveyance of how the machine really looks.

Wow, just Wow. Can nothing be done anymore without someone complaining? I thought this was a great contest and would love to see more of them. Great job Art! Don't let the few spoil it for the rest, don't even read those PM's let it go, those who seriously complain just don't get it.

Great contest and great pics. As a few stated here already, don't let a couple people with negative attitudes bring this contest and thread to a bad place. Well done Old Pinguy and to all who sent pics and positive comments to the thread. Looking forward to using some of the ideas in my own pinball machines.

Indeed we have a few "winners" or "whiners" here. Not sure how they go through life.....
Stress is gone, spring planting in Florida.....sorry for your snow guys....
Factory is adding staff for my account, I hope to speed from an 8 week OOS to a 4 week turnaround.
I will take a short rest, and next week, a more formal post of our color addition...."Sunlight", and expected in next, is another new, unnamed bulb...happy to run that again, for a bulb, inbetween Frosted and clear....pretty neat little guy.
Thank you Again....I may do ths bulb as a "business" but I am here as a Pinsider and fellow pinhead first!
