I made Jack and Zero last year. Both heads are papier mache, Jack’s body is made out of PVC and he stands about 10 feet tall. Zero is 4-5 feet long and his nose lights up This year I’m adding an Oogey Boogey and the pumpkin headed “Halloween Town” scarecrow also from Nightmare Before Christmas” And a bunch of other surprises cuz, yup, we’re “that house”!
Quoted from PACMAN:Building an electric chair from scratch.
You need a cyptkeeper doll for it
Holy smokes, those are gorgeous!

Its actually for guests to sit in and get blasted!

Probably will mount one on the bottom too.
Oh and these are networking/server fans with blades missing.
So how do those make the chair vibrate, I don't understand how you've got that hooked up
Chair looks great. What, no shaker motor? LOL.
Im always impressed with how much people put into Halloween. I love to look at others displays, but man, too much work for me. Ill stick to my spooky door mat and pumpkins.

Yeah, well, don't worry about our Halloween decorations and costumes, and we won't worry about yours.

Pinball pool in his collection...opinion invalid.
This is from last year. I keep it pretty simple. A dozen carved pumpkins. Fog machine. Dracula's
Tombstone with a large bat above it with red lights and a boom box playing creepy music. The kids Love it!!!
Quoted from ultimategameroom:Retro a go go has made these oversized(nearly two ft tall!) Halloween masks for a couple of years. Each year they do a new series of masks.
Just got Mars attacks and graveyard ghoul delivered yesterday.
Love the masks!
We just picked up our 12+ pumpkins for carving this weekend. Man we love Halloween but since we moved to a court we get jack shit for kids...sucks.
Quoted from ultimategameroom:The best Halloween display I have seen. This was last year in lambertville NJ. The Main Street has big beautiful Victorian homes and many of the owners decorate.
That's either the best halloween set up around or close up pics of Pinsiders machines

That London after midnight one is amazing!!
So after 2 days the chair is almost done.
The chair is working, vibrates, strobe lights on head and bottom of chair.
Used a blow torch to show previous use
Painted, scratched and beat up the head cap
Built the control panel and stand
Got the lights, gauge and fan transformer on the panel working (turns on using the small MAIN POWER switch)
Added LEDs to all of them
Big control panel OFF/ON switch activates chair
Need to add some more cables and cosmetic odds and ends
Then if theres time add air hoses and a compressor.

My wife loves Halloween and all of these minus the tombstones we made ourselves. Mostly paper machete but lately she has been using clay and wig forms.

Thanks! There were two variations. One is glow in the dark.

Duuuuuude... awesome! My dad built an electric chair when I was a kid (out of an old rocking chair and a lawnmower - seriously!), but this is some badass, next-level shit.
I am an enormous Halloween fan. I have a Universal Monsters tattoo sleeve and my house is a little Halloween all year (but it gets cranked to 11 in October). I’ll take/post some pics by this weekend.
I'm just using effects video files on a USB thumb drive. The projectors I got off Amazon for $80 have inputs for USB, SD card, blue ray, DVD, etc. Need to just hook up speakers now.
I'm going to hang see-through cloth out in the yard between trees to project a ghost scene and probably a skeleton band elsewhere in the house.
Setup is easier and cheaper than I thought so I may try more. Next year I'm going to make custom 3D stuff instead of the stock videos available out there now.
Quoted from Chitownpinball:COOOOOL, projection mapping? What program are you using?
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:That setup is going to be amazing!
That’s the thing about setting for holidays....fun fun fun! Buuuuut when you think about breaking it all down and cleaning it up afterwards....ughhhhhhhhhhhh

Omg agree 1,000,000%
A few props that I use.

Those are so cool! Really like how some are just lurking in the woods. What does the table with all the old fashioned electronics do?
That's My Mad Scientist control panel
It has a Jacob's Ladder in the middle and the bulbs just light up. Have led's in the gauges that flicker and the radio tubes glow. In the inside I have a few bulbs that give a flickering effect as in a short. This it what it looked like when I started.

is that a real jacob's ladder? Did you build that from a neon sign transformer or what? Let's see some video!!!

I built it from a kit.

Will have to hunt down a video of it or set it up and make one.
