I can not wait for expo and mgc personally. The thought of playing to my hearts content seems almost a distant memory right now after the debacle of last year. Covid definitely did a number on our hobby, between cancelling shows and driving prices for machines up. Which brings me to my concern. The prices and perceived values have skyrocketed since last spring, moreso than usual pinflation. Will those price increases make people squeamish about taking machines?? Whether “not worth the risk” or “i need more compensation to bring it”. Or on the flip side “i need to sell this at current rates” and bring everything and the kitchen sink. Which way are we trending, or is it just normal and im worrying too much?? Thoughts?? Bring on the shows!

Much of the enjoyment people get bringing pinballs to shows is seeing others enjoy the games. I would imagine since the growth of the hobby particularly during covid more games will be brought to shows.

I hope so! Love seeing all the great games!

I hope so too, so far I’m still lagging a bit behind on games being brought to my show. Hard to tell if that’s due to the pandemic uncertainty with some folks still weary of going out in crowds.

I think Pinfest will be very well attended and from the posts on the buy/sell thread a lot of stuff as usual (pre Covid) will be for sale.
