Quoted from JeffZee:I made these U-shaped blocks to support the front which just slip over the side rails.
Yup. On my list. Top of the list. I needed this 5 years ago.

Quoted from swampfire:I want to see the best idea for keeping a Bally playfield erect while I work on it. No Viagra jokes, please.
I know the older ones have a break in the supports inside the cab where you run the bottom of the playfield into them and then tip it back until it rests on the back box. (AFTER removing the ball, of course!) Don't know about the newer ones.
Quoted from Titan_Pinball:Not DYI also but did anyone get one of these from digi-key? Super cool PCB ruler with a bunch of design-guide stuff!
I got one last month. Apparently I order too much stuff...
Quoted from cottonm4:I suppose that since they are metal that perhaps you could get shocked but I am hard pressed to see how you could get shocked by pulling a fuse in a pinball machine.
Never underestimate the stupidity of the generation eating tide pods and snorting condoms. (Or the ones that came before them!)

Can't remember if I put this one in before or not, but since I'm doing another clear machine the opportunity to show it in action presents itself. If you don't build cabs you won't care but if you do this may be of some assistance.

And just how does one levitate the whole assembly on top of said device? I like the idea, but the execution is confusing me...
Quoted from mark532011:I needed to do something to get more organized so I picked up a couple of mid-sized drawer cabinets

then I used some cheapie wood and built a little rollaround cart for them. They are bolted to the wood and the wide base with casters keeps it from tipping over. Now to populate it![quoted image]
This is a cheaper version I did a few years ago when I started TCPB. Been thinking about upgrading and I think you have the right idea. Maybe with smaller drawers up top and two sided. (I have a ton of parts...)
IMG_1552 (resized).JPGQuoted from WJxxxx:I have made pinstadium alternatives.
Been wanting to do something along this route for my older machines. Thanks for showing the way!
Or, nevermind. I thought you were sharing with the crowd. Good luck with your sales and keep an eye out for a cease and desist.
Quoted from PghPinballRescue:2nd: A bulb/LED tester. It'll test bulbs, LEDs, and flashers. I made this from a "Really Useful Box" from the craft store, a pair of recycled battery holders, 2 bayonet and 2 wedge sockets. Wired a specific way so that 4.5V (3 of the batteries) go to the 6V side, and 9V (all 6 batteries) go to the 12V side. It wont light them up bright, but if they light at all, the bulb/LED is good.
Now THAT is slick! Gonna have to make one...
Quoted from dasvis:Us old timers use the Hakko 808............
I resemble that remark! I love my Hakko 808.
Quoted from cottonm4:Locating and locking the play filed to the rotisserie is accomplished by using the 2 large tooling holes the factory used for what ever purpose.
Great idea! Pretty slick.
Quoted from Thunfisch:Oops.
Just found out that the right translation for the German word "Kabelbaum" is not "cable tree" but "wiring harness"
In my mind, cable tree makes more sense!
Quoted from WJxxxx:Who uses all 4 headbolts anyway?
Brilliant product. Like the man said, the thing you didnt know you needed. And trust me, Space invaders and the Acrylic Pin always get four head bolts.
