When I was in Jr High, Tull was probably the most popular band with the kids there at the time. Bungle in The Jungle was on the radio day and night.

Don't blame them. There was plenty of media complaining back in the 70s how the Grammys could totally ignore the genius that was Jethro Tull and their masterpiece of work- Thick as a Brick.
And maybe you don't remember that Metallica's performance of One on that Grammy show was a lackluster effort at best. Now if they had gone out there and done a scorching version of say "Seek And Destroy", things might have been different.

Tony was not a good fit for Tull. Fortunately everyone realized this early on and parted company. Music would have lost a great band had he stayed.

switch to something that has sold big the last 20 years, biggest chart toppers, largest sales to people 5 years old to 34. something URBAN. something that will actually earn well on location in venues that people under 45 frequent the majority.
themes that didnt (do not) earn well on location: aerosmith, kiss (stern).
metallica did/does by customers over 30. same with ac dc.
games that DO earn well on location because younger people actually see the themes and want to play it:
1) ghostbusters (since its still relevant to even kids and people and genders of all ages).
2) guardians of the galaxy- because its actually "now" current with younger people as well as older.
3) star wars- same as above.
4) potc- same as above
5) the walking dead- same as above
are you seeing the pattern? make a current popular music based pin. rock is dead . it has been unless you are 40 or older maybe, even then, plenty 40 year olds listen to urban music.

Nobody on pinside is going to buy any of those. Before a game goes on location, it has to go thru and be approved by pinside first. That's why you keep seeing ugly old rockers whether you like them or not.
Spongebob would attract all kinds of younger players, but again it has to go thru the pinside jury first, so it's not gonna happen!
