Greetings. Forgive me if this is the wrong sub-forum that I should be posting in.
Anyway, I feel that if someone wants to sell or trade their table here on pinside, they should be required to upload videos of their table in action and I'm wondering how everyone else here feels about this. I can understand why this wasn't a requirement years ago when not everyone had a smartphone to quickly and easily record and upload videos of their pinball machines being played, but c'mon, it's gonna be 2020 in a few days, it's so easy and quick to record and upload videos these days. Recording a video of their pinball machine in action shows if the flippers are working properly, if kickers are working properly, sensors, lights, displays, ramps, if the right rubbers are installed, etc. etc.
I just commented earlier on a way overpriced Funhouse for sale. Table looks good, but then literally a minute into the seller's video I could see that the trapdoor loop sensor was faulty and the wrong rubbers were put on the plastics because the ball was flying up into the air every time the seller hit the corners of the ramp or the barrier between the mystery mirror/hidden hallway. The ball even flew up and landed onto the crazy steps rail during a hidden hallway multiball. You can't see these kinds of major issues simply from pictures or reading a description.
I just think videos should be required if someone wants to sell here to protect potential buyers from getting ripped off.
