Hi,
I am in very much doubt about this.
My T2 will get fresh clear and I will put a lot of work/money into touchup and new parts.
But should I buy a mylar set for it? I guess not having any mylar at all will make it as smooth as possible with no edges anywhere. But will it wear to much on the playfield and waste all my hard work if I dont protect it with mylar?

Not if you are keeping it for home play. Clear should protect it just fine.

No mylar for me.

I'd also say no Mylar if its huo

So the reason for No is that the amount of play needed before I will get wear is unrealistic high and will not happen (even around pop bumpers etc. )?

I would always Mylar the 5 standup area....LOTS of balls landing there every game............Joey

Always mylar the jet bumper area.

I always mylar the pop bumper area. Should a ball get nicked for whatever reason, go unoticed, and slam around in the pop bumpers for a while, you'll be glad you had mylar in there.

I always do mylar around the pops as well as ball drops into the inlanes. No reason for full playfield mylar.

Yes for high-wear areas. When the mylar gets worn out, you can easily replace it. Worn clear coat? Not so much....

Thank you all for your feedback and time.
Why is the mylar around the pop bumbers not closer to the bob pumper? It results in wear where the mylar is missing?
Was thinking about cutting my own piece and make it more tight but there might be a reason that I don't know?
