I've been pretty firmly in the no mod camp. I feel like they usually draw too much power and get in the way of things, so personally I don't do them myself.
I have a lot of friends that mod their games though and I will never complain or tell people how to spend their money.
All that being said, I won't and don't want to pay more for modded games.
