Williams, 1980A few of middle playfield inserts are slightly above the plane. See photo.
Should I leave them or level them down slightly?
Razorblade as comparison. Right side slight gap between playfield and blade when sitting on top of front edge of insert.
In the middle of the insert it is level but only top edge slightly above.
Also, running the blade on the field it stops when hitting the edge of the insert. Dont know but its perhaps 10th of a milimeter or less.
Glue it in place with some epoxy (from the back side) or it will just lift again. See vid's playfield restoration guide for more info (you need to prep the plastic properly).
