swinks this would be a good one for you. A project similar to the Banzai Run lifter.

My longest one day drive was 1450 miles round trip to get a TAF from kcZ . I don’t know why it was so important to get a game they made 20,000 copies of. My longest drive is 3010 miles round-trip for Lexi Lightspeed, but that was split over three L-O-N-G days.
Hit the road and get your Mousin’ Around!
Quoted from ruralcollector:I will be leaving at 10:00 p.m. (yes, pm) Thursday, February 6, to Springfield, MO.
Quoted from ruralcollector:Which means I have NO choice but to drive the 22 hours
Dude...Where’s the shooter lane pics?

Quoted from ruralcollector:The year is 2020. Perfect vision. A fresh start. My wife says it’s time we make a baby, which means my time and money that goes towards pinball is coming to a screaming (pun) halt.
I think the answer speaks for itself. Take the wife with you. Take a few rest or motel stops, make her a baby on the way. Win-Win

do you have a picture of the part you are talking about @dozer1

Getting it done. I like it.

Looks like the ball-eater assembly that Wico made that was used by Data East and Williams/Bally. I just so happen to have one of these unobtainium assemblies! shameless plug if someone needs it. It was the same for all companies since Wico just made one mech and they all used it.

If you are going to make the trip, I'd pack another game to two along the way. Find other games that are for sale, if you have the room.
That's a long way and a lot of time for one system 11.
12 hours until my 22 hour trip I had a dream about a Mousin’ Around pinball last night, but it looked all goofy and surreal like a Salvador Dali painting.. not sure what that means lol Lots of updates to come!
Good luck on your quest! I love these types of adventures.
We bought a little sports car for my wife 2k miles away, we both flew in one way, drove it home over three days and took pictures along the way. I will remember it forever.

Have a nice drive and be safe! Hope the game looks better than you thought it would
I hope you're not taking a cab, LOL . . .
Quoted from Jmckune:And I thought I was crazy for going on a 8 hr round trip for a Taxi. Also leaving Saturday morning

Safe Driving, bro. Looking forward to following along.
Quoted from kevmad:I’ve always wondered what there is to see in MN.
LTG : )
So does the guy on the far right on the billboard have his official pinball hat on there? Baby makin' hat?

Looks like attire for an ancient Norsk Viking mating ritual. That guy looks like he needs all the help he can get
First official gas fill up of the trip in Clear Lake, Iowa. I had the opportunity to choose between Casey’s, Pilot, or Kum and Go for fuel. We don’t have many K&Gs in our area and the name also sounds more fun than the others. I believe I chose wisely. 7 hours to go!

If you sign up for a free account, you can typically get three cents off a gallon at Pilot. Casey's is where we go for pizza. That said, us Iowans love to Kum & Go. My brother and I made up a few other less family friendly names to make fun of that one over the years.

I think I went to a Kum & go in Nevada years ago.... no, wait, that was the Mustang ranch.
Rise and shine, everyone!! Nice to see the sun again Thanks again to everyone for the support and positive comments! I’m on my last leg of the first half of the journey. Maybe 2 hours away and starting to get J A C K E D! First time I’ve stepped foot in MO. Doesn’t look or feel much different than home. Do people in MO have accents?
375055EF-33E0-4260-88C2-E4E1AC091126 (resized).jpegGood luck with the rest of the return trip! You'll be glad you did it when all is said and done. That is a LOT of driving though!
My longest trips were:
7 hours for a Black Knight ($850)
7 hours for a Taxi (for $700)
6 hours for a pinbot ($850) - Cleveland go Pittsburgh during a blizzard because I was impatient
All the machines were fixer-uppers in working condition but the deals seemed too good at the time to pass up. No regrets!
Quoted from ruralcollector:There will be pinball at my wake and you are ALL invited [quoted image]
Probably price tags on the machine too!
Should be getting a big 2nd wind when you pick up shortly. Go man go!
