There is available a NIB Tron LE at $22,000, an Eager Beaver reaching $400 on E-bay, and a Grand Lizard with a price yet to be determined. Which one should I buy?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm always in for an eager beaver.

#3 3 years ago

You can get eager beaver cheaper elsewhere.

#4 3 years ago

A "what do I buy" thread without a poll is like a PT Cruiser without a divorcee behind the wheel.

#5 3 years ago

If it were me, i'd be all over that Grand Lizard.

#6 3 years ago

I'd try to get a machine that works...and preferably without nutsack prints on the lockdown.

#7 3 years ago

I vote for the beaver.

well Odin, check all of WI and any game that has ever been in WI off the list.

#9 3 years ago

Soup or the salad?

#10 3 years ago

Well, I already had a TronLE for half the going rate so I'm leaning towards the Lizard and the Beaver.

#11 3 years ago

My vote goes to the Lizard!

#12 3 years ago

The poll has been added!

#13 3 years ago

Happy to be the first to vote
The Beaver Lizard to rule them all!

If money and space isn't an issue... It's really a no brainer.

#15 3 years ago

GL and EB for the win. At 20K I would hold out for the possibility of a Tron VE.

So far that seems to be the majorities opinion. Keep voting people!

Wait until q3/q4 of this year...several must haves will be coming out which will bring even more stuff to the 2nd market beyond what gb has already done.

#18 3 years ago

Eager Beaver whilst you can, I think Lizard would go well with it, but get EB when you can.

Then again, it obvious that the beaver is more eager than you

Do you think anybody getting a Ghostbusters will be giving up their Eager Beaver or Grand Lizard?

#21 3 years ago

Let me see what I have for sale and that's the ones you need to buy.

Prob. Not...but I'm amazed at what pops up on calguns that I thought would never surface.

#23 3 years ago

I've been looking for an Eager Beaver for the longest time, and nice beavers don't come up that often. Same with Grand Lizard. They are out there but usually beat. An NIB TronLE is a once in a lifetime oportunity, but storing it may be an issue.

#24 3 years ago

Any deal that includes an Eager Beaver is worth doing

Well not ones made in 1965...

#26 3 years ago

Still younger than me... any older and I might have to pass.

#27 3 years ago

So, 20 votes in the poll is all I get for getting out of bed in the middle of the night to ask your opinions about these life changing decisions?

For those of you that have voted, thanks!

For those that won't, don't go thinking I'll be around when you need me to tell you what to buy.

#28 3 years ago

Tron LE is a bonkers price unless you won the lottery

#29 3 years ago

But I can double my money in the next five years! Show me that guarantee with the stock market.

Whoa...whoa...whoa. First things first. You're probably gonna want to start a thread/poll to figure out what kind of car those zany pinballer contraptions will fit in. Like us, they come in many different shapes and sizes. Even if you have a truck, it's best to ask Pinside, just to be sure.

I don't think they will fit in the reptile roadster or the beaver mobile, but for backup there is always the Yugo.

Damn....always wanted to see Frankenstien's ride in person
EDIT: Oh and um...your beaver mobile

your beaver mobile

With the beaver mobile do I really need pinball?

#35 3 years ago

What's with all the smoke comin outta that beaver ?

#36 3 years ago

It missed it's last lube job.

#37 3 years ago

Soapbox Derby beaver buggy bong.
Mr. Hand is definitely gonna confiscate that.

#38 3 years ago

You guys have made me realize that without all the other LEs in a lineup, TronLE may be out of my league so I'm going to concentrate on gettting the Grand Lizard and the Eager Beaver together. For now...

#39 3 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

TronLE may be out of my league

Tron LE sci-fi theme may indeed clash with the other pins you have. Do you still have the Solar City? Get the Beaver and the Lizard.

#40 3 years ago

None of the above

All collections should include a game with an LCD (or at the very least, an CRT)

What you need is a Mac Attack

#41 3 years ago

Now that poll's coming to life!

#42 3 years ago

I can say without a doubt that coming home to an eager beaver is one of the best things in life.

1 week later
#43 3 years ago

I always hate to admit failure but even though I put in a reasonable bid on an e-bay Eager Beaver last week somebody was a little more eager and payed over $1300 for it. That's some pricy beaver.

An Eager Cougar is much cheaper here locally.... especially towards the end of happy hour.

#45 3 years ago

$22,000 for a pinball machine? no thanks

I think there's serious overlap among fans of beaver and busters. This could be your moment ...

#49 3 years ago

The guy that paid $1300 for the Beaver on e-bay must have dropped his GB pre-order.

That's what the Eager Cougar said.
