Is it worth $300?
In the condition it's in?

Does it come with the plastics and bumper caps ? Super Soccer is a cool game I'd buy it if it is a complete game .

Based off the owner he says it comes with everything

if it comes with the nicer backglass pictured and has the plastics then yes it is worth $300 .

I'm just not sure if it works
Also should I repaint the sides better?

lets see if it comes with that nice backglass you can ship the old one to bgresto and have it redone for 250 and maybe sell it for 300 that would make what you paid for the pin back

It has some wear down at the bottom of the play field but nothing a good paint job won't fix.

You can see the wear in this picture at the bottom right

As long as all the components are there , you should be able to get it working . If you don't have much expirience with EMs you may need to get some help from someone who does .

my uncle was good with electronics maybe it rubbed off on me

EM repair is easy. just a matter of adjusting old switches and cleaning contacts.

with em's, whether "it works" or not is not as relevant to the price as the actual cosmetic condition of the playfield and the backglass...

painting the cabinet is the least of your worries... it is VERY VERY far down on the list of things to do, and only really would be done on a full restore...
