Would like to hear other's thoughts on whether I'm being too picky. I ordered a brand new MMR shaker motor last week from PPS. It arrived Friday and the motor itself seems to be in perfect working condition. But I take issue with the actual motor cover.

I've uploaded photos so you can see what I mean. The top is severely scuffed and there is a crack on one side running across almost the entire width of the cover. Not sure if something like this could have happened in shipment or if they are sending me a used cover.

If I buy a new part, I want the part to be in new condition. Although admittedly this is just a cosmetic concern where you never actually see it while playing a game.

I emailed PPS asking to exchange just the cover but haven't heard back from them yet. It's been a full day since I sent them these photos. Should I continue to press the matter?

Yep - they reached out to me today and said they would ship me a replacement. Thanks everyone for your opinions.
