Do it. They're great fun.
Although you might want to look into the Surf Champ too in the area. I have both (QD and Surfer). Surf Champ might offer more shot variety but both have that one more game feel to them. Trying to get all the drop targets down in QD or getting all the roll overs in Surf Champ can be very challenging.
