Why do I have gb pro in my collection? Because it's hella fun everytime i play it. To each there own I love this game and I'm not even a big fan of the movie. Why don't I own mm or mb? Because for 2 to 5k less I got better gameplay, visuals and sound imo.....
If you and your wife enjoy gb I say go for it.
