I have a GoT Pre with the stern dragon topper. I’m moving into a new place and the basement acoustic tile ceiling is about 2-3” to low for my game to fix. I might be able to lower the back legs a bit, but it probably won’t be enough, and the angle would be off.

What do I do?

Can I get shorter legs for my game? I’m not a tall guy, maybe having the game lower might not be that bad.
Do I cut a hole in the ceiling tiles and make room for the topper to fit? (My wife suggested this)
Do I remove the topper? (I can’t believe that I just wrote that)

I understand that the easiest solution would be to remove the topper; that’s the logical choice. My problem with this is that GoT is my only pin right now and I plan to keep it for a very long time, probably as long as I keep the house. I REALLY like this topper too. I bought the topper less then 6 months ago because it fits the game so well, I don’t plan to sell the topper.

If I can’t find shorter legs, then maybe I’ll put the trooper on a shelf close by.

Quoted from mwong168:

I don't know what game these legs I got from my friend Drano were from but they helped my TAF topper just clear the ceiling in my old house. You can see next to my Roadshow legs they are much shorter so I was able to get the right pitch too. I think they might have been 4 Blackwater 100 front legs because it had a weird shaped cab and you can see how much longer the backs were compared to the fronts.

Thanks for the advice mwong, I’ll have to search for something shorter then what I currently have. Maybe gottlieb legs will solve this for me.

I’m only like 5’8” so a shorter game won’t be an issue
