Brilliant, that would solve the vertical challenge and the topper problem.

Oh I was gonna tell a story aboot how my old buddy jacked his house up a couple feet to fit a game in the basement....then I realized this was all aboot a crummy topper.

Why you gotta be like this?!

My FT topper just about hits the joists in my basement, preventing me from getting the 6.5 degrees of inclination. I put Gottlieb legs on the front of that which are a little shorter. Problem solved and the difference is negligible in the feel of the game.

I don't know what game these legs I got from my friend Drano were from but they helped my TAF topper just clear the ceiling in my old house. You can see next to my Roadshow legs they are much shorter so I was able to get the right pitch too. I think they might have been 4 Blackwater 100 front legs because it had a weird shaped cab and you can see how much longer the backs were compared to the fronts.

There are other options. I'd suggest heading on down to your local lowrider supply store. A row optima batteries, some hydros, and you can adjust to any height. Not to mention you can get some keen tips for some sweeet sweet scroll work on those chrome legs. Don't forget the intro of the play style opportunities. Instead of bumping the game with your hips, just bump one of the switches for the hydros. You could also add a hydro-dance routine and bounce contest to the mix for parties. I can't wait to see a couple of these modded out machines coin-door to coin door next to a glass metering stick, duking it out vato style for the most air below the adjusters. Please post video when you do!

Great Idea a low rider mod so your game can jump and bounce! Forget the Tilt! But the ceiling... never mind!

Just take the topper off.

Things would be so much easier if you lived in FL. Drop the house.

I had a similar problem. I first removed the ceiling tiles and draped some cloth over the exposed ceiling. It looked . . . meh. I eventually redid the basement and took out all ceiling tiles, painting everything above a matte black. That looked great in my opinion. I documented everything here:
