I'm trying to fix my old I.Revue and now it's time for the shooter rod to be changed. The old one has a tip that has been mushroomed to shreds, probably played without rubber tip the last 20 years before I bought it.
But - what is the correct parts number and shooting rod for this machine ?
The current rod, which is banged up, measure 19,5 cm or 7,6 inch in lenght from knob to the (damaged) tip.
I can't find a rod that appear to have the matching length and that look like the original one.
Here is one piece I found in Germany:
Correct length, but it has that little pointy end to the knob, which don't belong to Ice Revue judging by photos online and my own machine.
Can anyone tell me which part number is correct or a link to a gottlieb spare part that is identical to the original one ?
Side question: does an old Gottlieb machine like mine have the same size in rod springs like Williams and Bally ?
Should there also be a teflon sleeve inserted in the cabinet hole around the rod like on modern machines ?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Best regards Jörgen
