I am currently restoring a 1967 Williams beat time and the Shooter rod assembly has a plastic housing and it is toast. My question is will a newer style assembly work or will i need to go with the plastic one. And where could i find the plastic one if i need it. Thnkas

The modern metal one is a direct replacement for the plastic one (superceeds the original). Just be sure to order a nylon shooter sleeve with it.

The plastic housing was discontinued in 1973 and replaced by the metal one with the nylon sleeve.
