    Yes it matters to me. Big time. One of the easiest and clearest indicators of how much play a game has gotten and how well it was taken care of.

    You rarely see a heavily worn shooter lane that is not accompanied by heavily worn outholes, playfield wear, and other game damage. Playfield restoration is typically much more expensive than replacing some cabinet decals (and I also think cabinet decals are typically easier to find than NOS or repro pf's.)
