Hello Pinside!
Got myself a little issue on my first and only pin, a Black Rose.
Here's the deal:
The ball has been getting caught on the switch in the shooter lane if a light plunge is made and it comes back down and rolls half way up the switch. When it is caught, the glass must be removed and the ball dislodged. A REAL pain. For a while I had no clue why or how to fix this issue and after taking a closer look yesterday I found this:
So, the ball is getting caught and kept on the switch because it isn't directly over it and the right piece of playfield is lower, helping the switch keep the ball caught.
After even more inspection I found this, possibly the cause of the uneven shooter lane:
A crack in the playfield between the shooter lane switch hole and the ball return section, I think this is cause of all my shooter lane issues..
Obviously, someone has at some stage has lifted the playfield and for what ever reason let it drop, leading to this crack.
So, I don't really know what to do now. Should I attempt to fix this? How? Is there any simple fix without repairing the playfield.
Any comments / suggestions / ideas would be much appreciated!
Thanks guys!
