19xx has done oooook.
Resurrecting this thread. On the fence about buying a Sega Blast City. The cabinet is a 8/10 and the CRT has some mild burn in. MS2930. For those who are experienced with these machines, what else should I look for before buying? It’s still wired for JAMMA.
I can't find any candy cabs around my area or wider. They look so much better than north american style MDF arcades.
I love shmups. But pins take enough money and repairs I'll stick to mame.
I am partial to of engine shmups like final soldier, super star soldier, soldier blade.
Just since we are bringing this thread back.
I just got a mgcd to hook my dreamcast up jamma... I am in love.
So nice playing boarder down and all the great DC shooters on an arcade cab.

I’ve heard that the dc is the most true to the arcade. I know that it includes a Tate mode and doesn’t have a modified soundtrack like the GameCube version. Never played the pc version.

Dreamcast is also basically the same hardware as the Naomi board, but it’s running native vs being a port.
