Please recommend companies for shipping quotes that have a proven track record and has reasonable prices. Do any pack them as well? Thanks.

Try closer to $700 for both machines.

I think the lesson has been learned. Both machines should stay put.

Most of these guys (not all) who work for the moving companies know nothing about pinball machines or thier value. They just want to move your shit into the van and go to the next job.

If you want them to do it right you practically need to be breathing down thier neck while they are handling your pin. If you aren't there, dont expect them to put the head down or take off the legs. They most likely will do a half ass job wrapping/padding it up, just like in Odins pic above.

With all that said, I have had over 50 pins shipped in the past 6 years. Most of them through STI. Usually, head down, wrapped in blankets, then plastic wrap, with the legs still on.

I've had to inspect a few questionable deliveries, but never had to file a claim or reject shipment, thankfully.

Edit: If your sending a pin don't forget to take the balls out, put in a bag and into the coin box. Also secure the door key to the plunger with a zip tie. If no plunger, put key in an marked envelope and wrap with the game.
