I once received an IJ sitting on a palette. That's it! No wrap, no ties, no nothing! Oh wait, the shipper did manage to place a thin piece of cardboard on the glass before dropping the head down.
It was just my 2nd game and I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start up. Turns out all the vibration of not being tied down unseated a bunch of connectors on the main board. Miraculously, nothing else was wrong with it. I'm surprised the balls were taken out.
