    You might want to try Upack for shipping. You can get a small container (6’3"D x 7’W x 8’4"H) and they ship it directly to your door and you unload (or you can have it shipped to a facility near you to unload yourself for a cheaper rate). Only thing would be that someone would have to load it for you in CT, so I don't know if that would work for you or not. They are really good price wise, I used them when I moved to California from Canada and they were by far the cheapest freight company.
