I have a SharpShooter 2, and there is an orbit that goes around the kickout hole. Looking at the wear, I thought there was another post that went there. After putting the machine back together, the ball can get stuck by resting between these posts. What is supposed to be there. My best guess is that it should be a ball guide, but I can't find any pictures on the web that gives me clear information. I've included a picture for clarity.

Thanks for the help. It answers my question perfectly. Looks like I need to form a ball guide to fix that issue. It now also explains why the rubber kit didn't quite work. There were never supposed to be three posts in that area. My mistake for assuming the wear pattern indicated what should have been there. Doh!
