Will do. I found out that it is going to take some time though. The title company will only transfer the deed from someone who has power of attorney if the POA is recent (withing 18 months). Well the property is in his mother in laws name who left the country years ago. She gave him POA so he could sell it should he ever need/want to. He is mailing the docs to her and she will need to sign and notarized and send back. Problem is, she loves in Russia. It will get done, but I could see it taking a while. Right now it looks like I could get down there next weekend to get a closer look. I will grab some pics if I do.
On a good note, one of my cooks at work has a contact in the same tiny town who does work along the lines of clearing and making roads. He also has a mill I believe so I could perhaps get some lumber made from the trees. The guy who is selling the land had an offer of clearing the lot for free if he could keep the timber.
For now I would even be good with using 4 wheelers to access the lot and sleep in a wall tent. I have a nice tent that has a wood burner for heat.
