Quoted from LewisD:

They better have more than just the main title theme as far as the soundtrack is concerned. I want to hear the John Williams soundtrack, not a reimagining of the film score as seen with Ghostbusters.

GB music was actually pretty decent. I'm sure they'll roll out the old Cantina music a time or 2.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I only get offended when a joke isn't funny.
"Carrie Fisher is dead" isn't a joke.
Come on folks, work with me here.

Q: Carrie Fisher is on a sinking ship. Who gets saved?
A: The world of acting!

#73 7 years ago
Quoted from fosaisu:

Much better, but you left off the "Too soon?"

The world of acting needs saving IMMEDIATELY!

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I've got a real killer necrophillia/incest joke involving Debbie Reynolds and Carrie but I'm afraid you guys will give me the cold shoulder.

If by "cold shoulder" you mean "I'll have to clean the underside of my work table" than I agree.

Quoted from fosaisu:

There's a Death Star in pretty much ever Star Wars movie...

Dude Wtf spoilers

Quoted from Lethal_Inc:

The LCD screen needs to have new and inventive art/animations, we have all seen the movies 100's of times and I don't need to see them again.

Fair point indeed.

#105 7 years ago
Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Right. But half the people here want actual scenes. Just like half want hand drawn and the rest want photos.

Well of course it's all relative (speaking of were are those jokes you promised earlier).

Yeah it could go either way...i played Aerosmith this weekend and saw all the "great animations" I've been hearing so much aboot. I was asking myself what a baseball or train or basketball had to do with anything till I realized they were toys...and i was in the attic i guess; wow masterstroke.

Quoted from Hawkeyepin:

I would give my left nut to watch what would happen on Pinside if the entirety of the game was based on the late 70's --Star Wars Holiday Special.

Well that;s better than Menacing Phantom and people still buy that piece of shit

EDIT: Of course with all this talk someone is going to redo the audio with Holoiday Special clips.

#142 6 years ago
Quoted from neurokinetik:

- If neither of the above, then poorly recorded voiceovers that don't match the rest of the soundtrack

Well you'd think (uff those are dangerous words when predicting anything ) that they wouldn't need voice actors anymore if you can just pull clips from the movie? No way to tell though...if you have movie clips of actors butted right up to voice impersonators that's going to be all time painful.

Quoted from J85M:

...but would Stern really want to miss out on all the Pro sales from OPs?

Nope

#216 6 years ago
Quoted from kvan99:

I shudder to think how many poor men had to sit through that torturous celluloid.

20 years of hating titanic but you never got it... You never let it in.

#226 6 years ago
Quoted from zr11990:

...The Force Awakens really was Star Wars light with a chic for the hero.

Classic ZR line there

Quoted from Guinnesstime:

I mean, who DOESN'T want Richard Dreyfuss on a pin?

Mr Holland's Orifice is an LE buy for me.

#299 6 years ago

Oh that actually was a good one. I can always use more Emilio in my life.

#327 6 years ago
Quoted from visi0n:

A Pro Model, estimated around $5900,

5900 would be 300 under Aerosmith MSRP...unless you meant street price and I wouldn't believe that.

#329 6 years ago
Quoted from visi0n:

Are you buying games based on MSRP?

I'm trying to figure out where you got this 5900 number and what it means. I'm trying to figure out if you mean this machine is going to cost over $700 more than the last release. List price is MSRP and no one pays it...no one smart.

#341 6 years ago
Quoted from Guinnesstime:

I heard it'll be inline w/AS pricing (maybe $200 more) and have some cool uses of technology in it. Not sure what that means, though.

Well I got $100 down on it...buuuut I also have a Dialed In on order...so if they could just push SW back for a long time I'd be OK with that. Trust me I NEED both of these kidneys.

#397 6 years ago
Quoted from oktobernv:

Yea.... I remember when I first saw EP1 and heard the term "midichlorians" used.
I was like.... WOW did George REALLY just pull that nonsense out of his a$$?!?!?!
Yup....he sure did...
Awful......

And that was pretty much the highlight of the that trilogy

#411 6 years ago
Quoted from Hazoff:

For me this was the best of the newer films...

If it was anyone other than Palpitine I would agree...so bad that guy.

EDIT: Oh jesus you meant the entire movie up agianst all the others...jesus christ what a joke.

Quoted from PanzerFreak:

Will Sterns Facebook page go dark within the next couple of hours?

No...just a bunch of Pinsiders with their Schwartz's in their hands "sure aboot it" this time

#413 6 years ago
Quoted from Hazoff:

Hes the greatest. come on.

No he isn't NO NO NO

#418 6 years ago
Quoted from beelzeboob:

After all the dates that have come and gone,

Made up dates...like Jaws Release...and maiden...and blah blah fucking blah

Quoted from TheLaw:

No...just a bunch of Pinsiders with their Schwartz's in their hands "sure aboot it" this time

#432 6 years ago
Quoted from jar155:

This game will be like Ghostbusters all over again.

Shit I hope not...hope this one is good enough to keep

#438 6 years ago
Quoted from Sinestro:

GB is a keeper.

Wasn;t for me but we all like diff'rent stuff. Hoping SW is a good one, although I would prob have to sell my GOT to get it.
That's a tuffy.

The reason I say majority is because the game is very well liked among the pinball community.

ha it is?

#467 6 years ago
Quoted from Sinestro:

SPIKE is very modular, easy to drop in and replace new parts.

Actually it isn't really that easy, and you don;t know how easy it will be in the future; which is what he's referring to.

#495 6 years ago
Quoted from Sinestro:

WWE, KISS, GOT and GB are all SPIKE version 1.
.

But I'm not sure the node boards are interchangeable. At least not per Chaz when I had issues GB/GOT
