TAF and older games that have flipper leaf switches need the -1 driver board for the flippers to work, which is the reason for the flipper enable relay.
-1 driver board can be used in any WPC game. It is useless really having a -1 driver board in a Fliptronix 2 game that has flipper opto boards because it will not ever use that flipper enable relay on the driver board.
What issue are you having with your new Pinball Basement board? There is a warranty on the board.
