Hi Portraitman2, dr_nybble +
I am also stumped - have not yet seeing such fast stepping. I happen to like to do some drawings in MS-Paint - I do visualize what dr_nybble wrote about - see the JPG:
Starting a game makes the Reset-Relay pulling, Score-Motor running, IMPULSE-D-Switch does actuate five times per turn of 180 degrees (Sore-Motor) --- Drum-Units of Player-1 and Player-2 are stepped forward to their Zero-Position. I also ask the question "If you put a score on player 2 does it happen there as well ?"
The 1-and-2-Reset-Relay (and 3-and-4-Reset-Relay) are mounted in the Backbox, left to right about in the middle, on the bottom of the board - do they "flutter really fast ? - synchroneous with the rapidly stepped Drums ? What happens when You put score on Player-3 and Player-4 Drums - will they also act strange ?
When playing we can light the Outlanes to be worth 300 Points - how fast do the drums step when earning 300 points - normal tempo or also crazy-fast ? See the JPG "marked green the Resetting Player-1 and -2", "marked blue the Resetting Player-3 and -4" and "marked orange the making 300 Points" - ALL same speed by five actuatings per turn of 180 degrees (Score-Motor). Greetings Rolf
