I made this decal mod for my shadow to cover the wear on my sanctum area. what do you guys think?

Looks better than the original

#3 6 years ago

Yeh thats pretty awesome as the mod essentially covers the exact area. Hopefully it does so without requiring the removable of every piece on the play field in that area

#4 6 years ago

That looks great!

#5 6 years ago

Yes its just a round decal that fits over the wear spot.

#6 6 years ago

Totally looks like it belongs there. Great idea!

#7 6 years ago

Great idea and execution!

#8 6 years ago

If anyone is interested in one just pm me.

#9 6 years ago

Thanks guys for the nice comments.

#10 6 years ago

I don't even own a shadow anymore but GREAT WORK!!!

#11 6 years ago

Nice. What did you print it on? Waterslide?

My only comment (this is the nit picky designer part of me) is that it appears from the photo that the green band is slightly thicker than the green bands around the inserts below it. I'd make sure that width matches up.

#12 6 years ago

Yeah the green will be the same as the other on the playfield also the black will be thicker. This was my first stab at it . I wasnt near my pin when I drew it so I did it based on memory. It's printed on vinyl and laminated.

#13 6 years ago

Looks good! Also if you have serious wear there and have to fill with something, you can put the decal right over the filler without having to worry about painting. (if the decal is that big, hard to tell!)

#14 6 years ago

Yes it you wouldn't be able to tell.

#15 6 years ago

You need to sell these ASAP!

#16 6 years ago

Sure looks a lot better than the one that clown on E-bay sent me.

I don't know if i've seen that one. Is it the one that looks like the original and overlays the small section around it?

#18 6 years ago

Im pretty sure that the one. I bought one and didn't like it either.

#19 6 years ago

Pretty sure o-din is referring to the available overlay that is too light in color. I bought one, installed it and then removed it. It looked ridiculous.

#20 6 years ago

Thats one of the reasons i did mine the way i did it. That grey would be hell to try to match perfectly.

#21 6 years ago

You're right about matching different shades of grey, but the overlays are way off. No way they could possibly match even an NOS PF.

#22 6 years ago

Can you get a close up of it?

#23 6 years ago

ill take another picture tonight when i get home.

That's why I decided to airbrush mine and then make a waterslide transfer of the sanctum outline and writing then seal with clear and mylared. I may sell these if there's enough interest. Sorry to high jack

To all who ordered one thank you i sent them out today.

#32 6 years ago

hopefully after tonight it will finally be done. thanks for the hook up rocky! ill post pictures soon.

#33 6 years ago

May all your worn sanctums be covered.

#34 6 years ago

and that they will be.

#35 6 years ago

Hey Trident what's the price on both the brick wall and the sanctum decal? I also have the lettering for the sanctum that I need printed on a slide decal, is there any chance you could print it for me? I'll send you the lettering jpg. Anyway send me a pm if you'll do them as a package. Thanks

#36 6 years ago

Rather than trying to match the PF color I like the totally different color.
Nice job.

#37 6 years ago

Im interested in all of these, what would a package coast for the 2 maybe 3 mods? Or would you rather a pm..

#40 6 years ago

The problem with those stickers is some people won't know there is an overlay. But the Shadow knows. How can I get me a set of these?

Red flasher domes look best with the brick wall, IMO.

#41 6 years ago

Does anyone sell something to do the sanctum text? i plan to frisket out the whole gray section. someone did a repair job on mine and covered it with the decal that's a much different shade.
