The right side of the lower left ramp/diverter doesn't always recognize the ball passing across it. Slow shots register more often than hard, fast shots. I bent the original switch trying to to get this more consistent and have since replaced it with a new switch. Now I am bending the switch bracket so often trying to find the 'sweet spot' that I am afraid that it will get fatigued and break with too many more "adjustments". I think the ramp cage is just too big so the fast balls ride up higher and over the switch arm. If I adjust for the high ball then slow ones can go under the switch arm.

Has anyone else had this problem and figured out a solution?

Very common. Sometimes people attach a longer wire to help trigger that switch.

I replaced my switch with a 3" long straight flat blade. Took a while to get it in the sweet spot so the slightest touch will trigger it but nudging won't. It is long enough that fast shots will work their way back down in time to trigger it and the ball doesn't hang on it either.

Yup what they said!

Different ways of fixing it. The easiest is to get a longer blade on the switch and change it out. Here is a picture of the longer switch.
