I owned both. I found JY funny, entertaining and challenging for awhile...but. But once you beat it (which I did several times) it does get old. I'm only an very average player by Pinside standards just for a frame a reference. I found Shadow much harder to beat (actually I'm not sure I ever really did) and a game I kept longer and enjoyed more. I'd prefer a CFTBL, RBION, TZ, SM, POTC, Congo, and many other games if I was going to trade a Shadow I had for 15 years. I'd be super, super picky as trader's or seller's remorse can not be fun at all.
