I finally got the correct fuses in a SF2 I picked up cheap. Barely responsive. No attract mode. Just some lights solid on in backbox and playfield.
Here is the list of observations.
1. I get the two high squeal beeps at start up, but no other sound; except a dull droning sound when I turn off the pin.
2. Only #44 lights under plastics light up (solid on) on playfield. No insert lights.
3. Test button doesn't affect machine, but hard to tell with DMD out: see #4.
4. DMD has stripes one time, then power off and on, then only the far right column of lights. Then off/on, and a large block on the right. Then off/on, back to the one row. etc.
5. LEDs on board flash: A8 flashes rhythmically about once a second. A20 and A6 flash rhythmically about 3 times a second. A1 flashes faster than A8 but slower than A20 and A6.
I replaced both fuse holders at the power box. Checked, replaced and reseated all fuses.
