Anyone get the prices? I can't seem to find the thread.

I don't have a list and I wasn't there as you know but prices were down for everything with a lot of buybacks, especially on pins. Seems typical for this time of year. I think next month is gonna be even worse but I'll be there unloading some stuff...you going Mike?

    #3 9 years ago

I'm glad I didn't go, even though I needed certain things (rush 2049, cheap claw, coin pusher). Most of that stuff I can get up here, and don't need to spend near $1000 in fuel, hotel, and truck rental to get it. I may go next month... Depends on what's in my wallet or in my shop. I usually don't know until the week of.

    Hey Mike,
ask the DWTH, he was most likely there...

The prices were very cheap and contrary to popular belief there were not a ton of buybacks. I know Elvis was a buyback at $2400 but it was sold right after for $2500. Let me put it to you this way, I bought 11 games including 2 pins (I ran out of money) and am getting another pin from the auction later (Twister) and everything that was being sold there was just going cheap cheap...I'll see if I can conjure up the list.

What did you pick up Jason?

    #8 9 years ago

    Some very nice deals there!

    #9 9 years ago

Maybe this is a sign of things to come and the crazy prices have gone and went.

I picked up Tommy and Viper and am getting Twister later this month....If I had more money I would have picked up games to resell. Getaway for 1300???? and it was nice.

Honestly I can say that a lot of the heavy hitters were not there. When you add in all the guys that did not show up it only leaves people that know about the machine (instead of the seller IF the seller is privy to the value) that could possibly bid it up. I counted at least 4 pinball "regulars" that were missing that usually go after the same kind of pins I do....Tommy needed very little, just a shop out and it works. Need to figure out a small sound problem but Viper was already working, just needed to be cleaned....the last auction had Viper at 1900 I think and Tommy two auctions before was 2200....I'm not saying no to stuff like that that we are looking for.

Oh, and that White Water for 3200 was working and had the topper.

    What about the FH?

...wait, I'm not sure I want to know...

    #16 9 years ago

Fun House was not a buyback and did sell for $1700.

    #17 9 years ago

    Was it in good shape?

    #18 9 years ago

If these prices travel to WS auction this coming month I'm going to be pissed because I won't be around for it! But, I will be at the Southern Fried Gaming Expo, so can't complain too much

    It wasn't terrible.

My brother went to the Mesquite TX auction yesterday as he's in Ft. Worth on vacation. He said the lineup was abysmal there unfortunately. Said there were about 12 pins, including Nascar, Millionaire, Stryker Extreme, High Roller and other C, D, F titles primarily.
