Wouldn’t having it a different scale and method of functioning mechanically negate any testing efforts? If it works for the servos it doesn’t mean it would work for a full scale coil driven version (or have your code on fast port over, if this is what your intention is).
I’m currently doing this with P3-ROC and a Shaper Origin. This is to get my routing for the CNC figured out along with spacing/code. For example, I’m making the bumper section and the mechs to feed into/out of it full scale but on a 2’x2’ plywood. This allows me to see how the ball will handle with the spacing/coding/power/etc before committing to a design for the Playfield. Also working on magnets and code for throwing the ball reliably how I want it to go. Slings/bottom end will prob be on a full size as it needs to shoot to really test it. Only thing missing is clear coat so your friction/feel is a bit more accurate. I’m planning on coating them once I’m happy with a design to get more practice so I have some experience before spraying a full playfield with art.
