Hi All- Does anyone know of an easy way to remove (or at least loosen) the black circular plastic pieces that prevent the wires from being pulled out (or into) the service box? I'm trying to bring about an inch of the wiring into the box so I can work in there. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Pliers - squeeze tight and push down.

Thanks LLoyd. Which direction should I push... into the box or out of the box? Thanks again

Those are Heyco bushings. Heyco makes a special set of pliers for installing/removing them.
