Quoted from PinballPianist:Recently I purchased a Serenade 1948 manufactured by United. I'd like to add it to my current collection list. However the search engine of this website can't find the game. I had the same problem before with another game, C.O.D. Williams 1953. Does anyone know how to do this?
One of the oldest games I've had the pleasure to restore... took on a job for a woman who grew up with one of these at her home... it was her father's pride and joy. Following his death it was moved around but never played, used mostly as a stacking space for kids junk in back bedrooms. She decided to have me get it going for her following her father's death... when I delivered it to her home and set it up and she began playing, she broke down in utter joy and emotion, as it brought her back to that wonderful time in her life when she and her dad would spend time playing. One of the cooler moments in my life, will never forget that. Game play is way cool for 1948 - I was surprised how fun it was - playing that is. Good luck finding a United schematic... ugggghhhh.
