So many great machines out there and you guys pick these four? I guess it's MM for me.

#3 9 years ago

MM for the win!

'They took our wives!'
'HOORAY!'

#4 9 years ago

Would have been nice to have these two in the final. Eddy vs Lawlor.

I think we'll see an all Eddy final.

Oh yes... no Ritchie, no Lawlor, no Johnson, no Gomez, no Borg, no Popadiuk, no Balcer

Obviously - Eddy should be re-activated ... http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?searchtype=advanced&ppl=Brian%20Eddy

It seems to validate the pinside ratings. Not that any one cares.

Exactly what I was thinking. Aside from TAF instead of MB, its the Pinside ratings top 4! I guess we can't bitch about all the old obsolete ratings keeping the newer games from the top spots any longer.

wanna bet?

#10 9 years ago

LOL. I guess we still can, it just wont appear to be a valid argument any longer.

#11 9 years ago

Come on....TZ!!!

#12 9 years ago

I like TZ a lot, but it ain't no MM!

It appears you are right....I'm getting crushed on both semi's.......eh, still love the games.....makes me think I should have gotten in on the MMr, but TRONLE tanked my pb budget for awhile........

#14 9 years ago

Both these games are Winners~

#15 9 years ago

i'd hate to see MM against AFM in the finals, because their layouts are pretty much the same. voting TZ.

#16 9 years ago

people are just voting MM because they are probably on the MMR list. TZ is a far superior game. But the cheapest made econoline bally williams game of all time (AFM) made it this far, which is an amazing feat in itself.

#17 9 years ago

TZ making a run.......

Hmmm, so that's why it's been #1 for YEARS? People knew MMr was around the bend at some point and that they would be in on it? Yeah, that's why it's winning. Couldn't be because it's a complete package great game.

#19 9 years ago

finals are as expected

And they are probably on the MMr list because they like the game, genius.

#21 9 years ago

I'm on the MMr list, but I voted TZ. Both are great games.

#22 9 years ago

TZ easy choice for me.

#23 9 years ago

TZ is making a massive comeback in this one.

#24 9 years ago

Hate to keep posting on this thread ( not).....but GO TZ!!!

#25 9 years ago

If you can't tell from my name and avatar I voted for TZ.

#26 9 years ago

come on TZ!!!

#27 9 years ago

I own TZ and am getting MMR, but it's TZ for me.

#28 9 years ago

I'm pulling for TZ here; especially since tend to favor the underdog and enjoy watching a good come from behind win.

Both games are worthy to be in the finals.

#29 9 years ago

It's tied! The suspense! Goal!!!

#30 9 years ago

Very close. 104-105

#31 9 years ago

I own 3 out of the 4 games left. I don't own MM but have played it enough to choose TZ.

Surprised you didn't start that post with "actually"

#34 9 years ago

all tied up at 108! TZ by a fair piece for me. TZ is always somewhere in my top 5, mm somewhere in my top 15.

Kinda like IronMan.

#37 9 years ago

Could be best match of the Cup!!!

#38 9 years ago

except you you seemed to missed when IM was first released and everyone complained how cheap it felt and looked. They would compare it to a zizzle.

#40 9 years ago

TZ blows IMHO.
It was a turd on route for a reason........

#41 9 years ago

Well looks like TZ lost by 2 votes.....respectable, for sure....

#42 9 years ago

That would be 4 votes......drinking again.....

#43 9 years ago

Yet, TZ seems to be the staple entry pin for most that have been collecting. Seems through the years, everyone has own or does own a TZ. It's a standard. can't be that aweful, if they made 20K of them yet they were 2k plus, for the past 10 years and last 2 years shot up around 6k. Still around 3-4k.

MM is high. but they also made 80% less of them than they did TZ's and out of those MM's many of them are still on route. Around here, we still have 8 on route within a 30 mile radius. they make money. because they are simple and easy for casual players to grasp and understand.

#44 9 years ago

On a close race like this, one has to wonder if the site hadn't been down during the last couple of hours of the voting, if the results would have possibly changed back into the favor of TZ?
Anyway, it was a good classic matchup.

#45 9 years ago

Penalty shootout?! Tied up at 124. Is this closed?

#46 9 years ago

I enjoy both games a lot but have to go with TZ due to its much deeper ruleset and unique features.

#47 9 years ago

I was on the site at 11 Central, 9 PST and TZ was in the lead by 1 point then???

No sign of the OP at that time to stamp this closed...

Looks like a hanging chad?

#48 9 years ago

On an island with only 2 games. TZ will be one. AFM or MM will be the other. Every time.

That pair is the Yen and Yang of pinball.

#49 9 years ago

TZ vs TAF
and
MM vs AFM

would have been the better semi anyway.

I am declaring extra time and TZ the winner in the 5th min of overage. How do you like them apples?

Appears MM fans stormed the field following the end of overage time and put a few balls into the goal, but unfortunately for them, they don't count.

Let's see how the TZ and AFM finals shake out.
