I need space...so For Sale is my Retheme of a Bally Nightrider into a Whack-That-Mole theme. It was at the Flipper Room on July 24th and ran fine all day.

The cabinet physically is in very good shape as is the backbox. The mechanicals were all cleaned/serviced/replaced during the retheme and the pop-bumpers replaced as well as some of the switches and lamp sockets. The legs are new as well as the leg brackets. The coin mechs have been removed.

There is a bit of overlay lifting, but it doesn’t really affect play. I’ll post a couple more pics shortly.

All of the boards and displays are new: Displays, PSB & Driver board are Rottendog, CPU & Lamp Driver are from Barakandl.

The sound system consists of a WavTrigger board which feeds into a stereo amplifier, both powered by a separate supply. The inputs to the WavTrigger board are either cherry type switches that I added; or inputs from lamp circuits, run through a diode and into electronic solenoids…which mimic a switch closure.

The WavTrigger uses an SD card that is easily programmable, so sounds, callouts and background music is easily changed.

There is probably $2500 + in parts alone (plus the base game) and lots of hours to make this come to life. this is a fun machine and visitors have liked it a lot.

The grandkids loved it, but are now to “busy” to come play pinball with me...so this game has to go.

More info about the effort can be seen in this thread: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/bally-night-rider-ss-re-theme

I have had the opportunity to play this game. It is what you'd expect from a Bally night rider. It's about as classic as a late 70's bally gets with it's gameplay. A solid Greg Kmiec design with good shots that any pinball caddyshack or golf enthusiast would enjoy. If this sounds like you, you will have fun playing this game.

I play d this at the flipper room and it plays like a nicely dialed in night rider. What a didn't expect was to break out laughing when the ball went into the pops and the moles started chattering!

Bob did such a great job on this custom game! The attention to detail is great. This would be a nice addition to any collection.
