Can anyone give me a rundown on how these are done? I'm used to the standard play four or five fames with four people per a group etc. but I've never seen a selfie league done. Do you typically play all the games at the location, or does the league manager assign games each week. How does scoring work? are you still playing in a group even though its on your own? Any help on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks!
Tournament director picks multiple games at multiple locations. Avoids games where you can continue a game with a credit. No teams. Qualifying lasts a set period, a month or more usually, and ends at midnight on the last day. High score on a title gets 100 points, 2nd gets 97, 3rd gets 95, etc. Best five (4, whatever) games count. For five games, the best possible score would be 500 at the end of qualifying. Player takes pic of score after game, submits pic and score to Matchplay, TD okays score, score is added to players ranking for the tournament. Players can submit scores and can monitor their standing and their scores on matchplay site. No app needed. Highest 8 (4, whatever) combined scores makes playoffs. Playoffs have different options.
