The ball tracking technology in the P3 makes it easy to have the machine automatically flip the flippers when the ball is near them. With an improved algorithm that incorporates ball speed, ball direction, and aiming intelligence, the machine could become quite good.

We'll be turning 'auto-play' on periodically in our booth at TPF so people can see it in person.

Note - the software shown in the video is our tech-demo software. The themed software we're developing for our real games will be completely different.

Freakin awesome! I bet you could tune that to "learn" where its shots go over time and improve accuracy e.t.c.

Cyborg vs Human in the next head to head pin battle.... Game on

(Now you just gotta teach it nudging )

P.S. I also really like the asteroids "exploding" effect on the slings. Nice work.

    That's incredible!

Definitely a more modern version of the older self playing games that just flip the moment a ball touches the flipper. Nice.

Now we just need to bring back head-to-head 2 player simultaneous pinball, with an option to play a very good computer opponent when by yourself.. Seriously, I would so buy that!

Awesome. I could be the player I'll never be and just by watching !

Invent one for golf too and I'll be set.

    Will this fit the bill?

The option to play against the computer instead of a networked opponent would be quite easy to implement.

Or perhaps just a plain old game of doubles vs. the computer?
