Hi, we are trying to repair this fine pinball but when we select +2 players it seems that it gets in a kind of mode where he does not select the correct user (switching between 3 and 2). The reason is abrade tooth (don't know it is correct English, sorry). We switch already to another second hand gear and it is worse now. It would be good to find a new or almost new gear for it but this seems very difficult. Are there also other issues we certainly have to check on this kind of pinball? Thx so much

I can't tell for sure from your picture, but in looking at the schematic, I'm pretty sure the factory removed one tooth from the Player unit ratchet gear to prevent it from advancing past the 4th player.
And in any case, a missing tooth wouldn't prevent the Player unit from resetting to player one. If that's what's happening, the unit is probably dirty.

I looked closer and it looks like the factory removed that tooth from the Player unit ratchet gear to prevent it from advancing past the 4th player.

If the problem is in the electrical circuit, then you need to look for the answer, for example, here: http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index3.htm
If it is mechanical, that is, these 2 resources can help in some way:

I hope that at least something helped =)
