I picked up a very nice looking XF, but ran into issues quickly. Played 20 games fine. Tried to go to settings and she locked up. Power cycled and now screen resolution is haywire, lighting sometimes flashes in unison, game is looking for 5 balls in a 4 ball pin... Upon closer inspection, saw 3 legs of U212 have acid on them. I plan on replacing the IC and socket. I believe U212 is RAM, so it's not game specific, correct? Using the label I can only find $16 chips on eBay. Any better sources? Can't find on gpe or Marco. Ensured the voltage that causes resets is Sat (5.1V). The corrosion is my only lead. Besides that, the boards look pristine. Don't worry, the battery board is going to be moved... Anything else I should look at?
