So I’d like to build this title. My reasoning is the original is notorious for bad electronics. So I have some questions for my arcade aficionados.

Is there a way to get a custom build arcade in the same designs of the original. My goal is to build it new from the ground.

Secondly I’d want to use a raspberry pi to run the actual game to bypass the unreliable boards. I’m not sure if I could acquire a NOS vector monitor that wouldn’t crap out on me, so I’d be okay with an actual wells Gardner Arcade LCD replacement as I’m more interested in a monitor that will last with maybe an optional board that’ll recreate the proper Vector scan lines.

The art work replacement is readily available, so what i want is the possibility to create a brand new Star Trek SOS that will be built to last. I know it won’t be arcade perfect, but i want a reliable option that can be played hard and stand to the test of time.

Can someone point me in the direction of how to make this dream theme come true. Thanks I’m advance.
