I'm a SEGA fan for sure. I'm considering trading off my WMS DMD games to get more!

Still need A13, Goldeneye, and ID4

Nice looking lineup. I will gladly take your RFM, NF, or Diner

    #3 5 years ago

RFM and Diner are staying put.

Looking good Todd, Viper working well for you?

    #6 5 years ago

i still think Franky is a great game

    #7 5 years ago

No Maverick or Frankenstein for the large DMD trifecta?

    #8 5 years ago

If I had the money/room to do a Sega row, I'd love to have a Baywatch, SST, and Godzilla. And I've never even played any of them before. I do love my Frankenstein though, and think it is a gorgeous machine. I was always a fan of DE/Sega more than B/W, but somehow we've ended up with a variety and I like them all. (Except the stapled-in lights when working on the DE/Segas... what's up with that? lol)

    #9 5 years ago

That's a row of solid fun, right there!

    #10 5 years ago

I rarely see goldeneye and ID4. actually seen more Godzilla's than those.
    no X-files?

    #11 5 years ago

Nice row! Sega games may not all be deep but they are all a lot of fun.

    #12 5 years ago

Very cool! When can I come play?

I have never played a Godzilla. They look great in a row!

    #15 5 years ago

Very nice. I love my A13! It was the first DMD pin I bought and it will never leave. How is starship troopers? I've never played it but it looks fun.

Your still missing two of the better ones IMO. I wouldn't mind getting an A13 someday. I love toys.

    #17 5 years ago

Very nice! You need a SWT in that line-up.

    I don't see a Twister there.

    #19 5 years ago

don't forget lost in space also

    #20 5 years ago

Me too! Great bang for your buck games IMO.

Anyone know where I can find the spinning disc decal for Twister? Marco's is OOS.

    I have lineup envy OP

Viper is working great, and looks wonderful after a full tear down and rebuild with cointaker LED's.

I owe you big time, Tommy. Thanks!!!

Not a fan of X-files. I've had a shot at both GE and ID4 recently, but wasn't ready to move on them.

May 24th. Room for camping behind the house.

Free beer, BBQ and live music.

    Great lineup!

I've never played one, but I bet it's better than what people who don't like SEGA as a rule say about it.....

SST was my first SEGA, and caused me to look into the others. It's a pile of fun. Flows like an S.Ritchie pin....

I had a shot at a twister but I backed off. It shares a lot of features with Whirlwind. I may revisit that title later...

Twister flows like a John Borg game. Wait a minute, it IS a John Borg game!

    #32 5 years ago

I miss my Baywatch. Would still have it if I had room.

    #33 5 years ago

Not a problem glad it wasn't "needing a lot of work" as our buddy informed us at PATZ had me scared for a bit.

    #34 5 years ago

    Nice lineup!

    #35 5 years ago

Wonderfull line up!!! Love Sega, my latest is Baywatch and it is a very good game. Be sure to pick up goldeneye. Than is one of the best they made. Greetings from the netherlands, Bas

    Great pic!

Is Maverick a Sega or a DE? No one really knows...(maybe I should ask my Shadow?...)

Either way, my personal fav from either category.

    #38 5 years ago

Awesome, Todd. I'd love to get an A13 myself.

You need a Frankenstein, Sega's best game by a long shot IMO. Would steer you away from GE and ID4, however. Goldeneye is my favorite Bond film and the pin has phenomenal artwork by my personal favorite Paul Faris, but it has a really monotonous layout and bland modes. ID4 is also attractive and has a way more interesting layout than GE, but has some of the most shallow, terrible rules of any DMD game.

There are a few gems carrying the SEGA brand. I want another Baywatch and wouldn't mind giving Maverick a whirl

    #40 5 years ago

I really don't care for the flow of Frankenstein, sadly. I'll never own that one - it's a non-starter for me.
Goldeneye was designed by one of my favorite pinball designers, and reminds me of another of his games that I really love.

    #41 5 years ago

so which is your current favorite and why (with specifics please)?

Just curious to hear the opinions of an admitted Sega addict.

Humm.. Don't have a favorite. Of them all, VND is my least favorite.. but it's quite a grin to shoot. I like the multiball jackpot sequence.
I think the rules of Godzilla are about perfect. Shallow, but once you figure out what to do, it's addictive to try to stack all 5 multiballs and start them at once. Very often, I'll drain ball 3 with 4 lit, and just a couple shots away from the 5th one.
Starship Troopers is a pretty well put together game with tons of speed that is just plain fun to shoot.
Baywatch is deep with interesting shots that don't feel like any other pinball game. So much to do, and a challenge.
Batman Forever might be the best SEGA. It's pretty deep, looks great, and is quite fun.

I think what makes me like them so much is the difference in style and attitude between SEGA and Williams pins. To me, SEGA had a philosophy of gaming that catered to the normal player, where Williams was going for the pinball wizard types. I think this translates into games that - for a guy like me, feel less like work, and more like fun.

I'm a real fan of Sega games, but there is no way I could have Hasslehoser in the house...gotta be an alt T-Lite out there...

I find all the alts out there more cheesy than the original. I don't mind it too much as is. I took all the lights out behind his face... that's good enough.

Yeah, but you're missing out on that great big PAM if you get rid of the original

I'm about ready to find out how good Goldeneye is shortly, rarely do I see a game that has so many polar opposite opinions on it. Seems like 1/2 the people think it's Sega's best game, 1/2 the people think it's one of the worst. I've enjoyed it the few times I've played it, but sometimes short doses of games can be very deceiving.
